I'm a dabbler. I enjoy anywhere from fifteen to thirty different hobbies (I've lost count), from photography to cooking, crafts to gardening, genealogy to hiking. I am a freelance writer and editor and love the convergence of these various life interests which I believe make me a better writer and editor. I am a conscious observer of everyday happenings--the mundane, the political, the humourous, the unjust, the kindness of others. And, I an open to those precious, spectacular serendipitous events that just pop up--whimsical, pleasant, intriguing and mysterious.
