Elizabeth D. Bowman President, Organizing and Productivity Expert 206-494-9822 ext. 712 elizabeth@innovativelyorganized.com From the Washington DC area and raised in Virginia Beach, VA and Key West, FL, Elizabeth received her B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. She has five years of experience in the defense contracting and consulting industry. While working for an international consulting firm, she focused on creating and delivering training presentations for corporations, in addition to designing, building, and implementing new software systems for various government agencies. As the President of Innovatively Organized, which she founded in 2007, she works with busy professionals to implement innovative solutions for their daily organizational challenges. Through workflow assessments, process improvement, productivity tools and apps, she helps overwhelmed teams or business owners find more time in their day. She also provides speaking presentations, gives seminars, and hosts webinars on a variety of topics, including email organization and time management. A self-proclaimed “geek,” Elizabeth loves researching new productivity tools. Personally, her favorite tool to staying organized is a scanner, so she can be as paperless as possible. Elizabeth is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She has been on the Board of Directors for the past four years and served as the immediate past president for the Seattle Area NAPO Chapter for two years. As a member of the Seattle Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, she helped establish a scholarship fund to send students from Washington to VT. You can find her during football season cheering on the Hokies with her husband Eric and other VT alumni. She enjoys drinking coffee and traveling every chance she can get. She has already explored Greece, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, England, Denmark, France, Spain, Iceland, Gibraltar, Germany, Belgium, Alaska, and Hawaii. Half Puerto Rican, she speaks un poco Español and loves visiting her extended family. She is still hoping to see Brazil and Australia. Even though she misses the East Coast, she loves Seattle, especially the view from the top of the Space Needle. She has a huge celebrity crush on Matt Lauer- not just for his good looks, but because he is also incredibly organized!
