Joan Connor

Love to travel, start new projects, always playing the piano, struggling beginner at the fiddle, seek to volunteer in the literacy support system, dabble with photography, often active with online writing classes and currently pursuing the elusive MFA - this is me in 2020. I was a Peace Corps volunteer at ages 68-72 and loved it. I recently married at age 73 and currently spend summers in North Idaho and winters in the Texas Hill Country. I enjoy the challenges of this eighth decade of my life......and the freedom! I desire to write poetry sometimes, am looking for outlets to publish and working on my first self published book of my Peace Corps experiences. As a former music and special education teacher I find myself very happy when teaching any ages any subject anywhere. Newest challenge: getting in shape for my first bicycle "tour" somewhere sometime......
