Olawale OJO is a young professional in Agriculture and Agribusiness is a strong believer in the empowerment of young people by engaging them in agribusiness. Olawale has received training in Integrated Sustainable Agriculture from the SonghaiCentre, Benin Republic, The Anabel Leadership Academy, Nigeria, and in Social Media and Social Reporting from the Global Forum for Agricultural Research (GFAR) at Punta Del Este Uruguay. At the moment, he is working on the Agropreneur Naija online platform a Youth Advocacy and information sharing for young people to get interested in Agribusiness in Nigeria. Olawale as a writer too, has had his very insightful and informative articles published in the Nigeria Newspapers, blogs and also granted both radio and television interviews on issues relating to youth, agriculture and agribusiness. With a university degree in Agricultural Engineering he continues to work on projects with farmers across the country thus practicing what he preaches. He has been privileged to attend conferences and workshops related to Agricultural Research for Development (ARD), leadership and youth development.He presently serves as the Nigeria Representative of the Young Professional’s Platformin Agricultural for Development (YPARD) which is hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). Olawale on a day to day basis continues to spread the news of the benefit of getting actively involved in agriculture and agribusiness.
