Course: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Favorite Book: The Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. The book reflects the childhood that makes me who I am today. Favorite Film: Bliss directed by Jerrold Tarog. I dreamed of writing a film like this that would tackle issues that are relevant to society. Favorite media practitioner: I love journalists who go beyond their mandate to report. Prof. Kara David-Cancio brings not only traditional journalism, but also urge the people to involve themselves to ongoing issues that society faces. She is an excellent story-teller that will make you feel everything beyond cameras. Favorite Song: Due to its uplifting lyrics and excellent musical appeal, I Lived by One Republic summarized what I always wanted to listen to everytime I feel down. This song fulfilled its mandate to motivate people to go on with their lives despite having setbacks. Favorite Meal: My mom always cooks Kare-Kare every time I go home after weeks of school. Whenever I eat her own version of that dish, I always feel home. That's why I always wanted to go home. Hobbies: Listening to music is my go-to hobby whenever I don't have much to do, or even if I have, I always look forward to listening to music to lift me up.
